WWD Drain Crossing Application

WWD Drain Crossing Application

Landowners can apply to Westlake Watershed District for a new crossing construction or a crossing upgrade for crossings through a Westlake Watershed District designated drain.  


All applications are subject to approval and conditions set by the Westlake Watershed District Board Policy.

Abandoned Well Capping

Westlake Watershed District will arrange for the abandon well sealing contractor and provide some financial assistance to seal abandon wells that are no longer in use in the WWD area.  Subject to available funding, the program will provide assistance up to $1,500.  The applicant is responsible for any remaining balance.  Flowing or artesian wells are generally not considered under this program.

Beaver dam removal from order in council drains can be done through cost effective and efficient means.
